About Andrey
I'm Andrey, a Hebrew teacher, entrepreneur, traveler, and a big believer in peace and building bridges between cultures.
After completing my military service, I set out to explore the world. Ever since I've been living a double life. One life of your good old סחבק from Israel, playing שש-בש on a זולה on the beach. And the other one is my international identity, discovering new cultures, learning new languages, and investigating how can I live my best life while making the right contribution.
In my travels, I discovered few truths that shaped who I am today. First is that all humans are the same, everywhere. The core is the same. Second is that human connection, and community, are the real way to live a fulfilling life. And third? That language-learning, which is one of my deepest passions, is fueled purely by a strong desire to connect, to feel a part of, and to immerse in an identity. This builds the motivation, which builds success.
For years I've been trying different paths. I've worked in Tech companies, marketing consultant for therapists, and a short fitness-trainer era. In the past 6 years I've been working as a Hebrew teacher, and today, it's clear: This is my path. My gift to the world is interconnected with language teaching and education. And I'm on a path of dedicating my life to creating the biggest language and culture school in the world.

Joining starts with a short conversation, about twenty minutes, free. It is not a test. We talk about what you can already do in Hebrew, where you get stuck, and what you want to be able to say. Then we see if it is a match.

Take one lesson, 60 minutes, one to one. Pay now, and I add it to your account by hand, usually the same day, so you can pick your own time in the app. Card or PayPal; you do not need a PayPal account.

Questions people actually ask
What is the first conversation, and is it free?
It is free, about twenty minutes, online. There is no test. We talk about what you can already do, where you get stuck, and what you want to be able to say, and we see if it is a match.
How long is a lesson?
Sixty minutes, one to one, in Hebrew.
How do I pay?
For a Journey, you get a payment link after our first conversation. For a single lesson, the button above takes you to PayPal, where you can pay with a card; you do not need a PayPal account.
Do I need the app?
It comes with the Journey and there is nothing to install: it opens in your browser, on your phone or your computer. Your lesson summaries, your words and your games live there.
What if I miss a lesson?
You tell me, we move it. Life happens, and a Journey has enough room in it that one moved lesson does not derail anything.
What if it is not working?
Every Journey has a mid-point check-in built into it, and that is exactly what it is for. We look at what is working, and if something is not, we change the plan. You do not have to wait until the end to find out, and you do not have to be the one who raises it.
What time zone are you in?
I teach across US, Israeli and European hours, and most of my students are in those places. Tell me roughly when suits you and we will almost certainly find a slot.
Do I need to be at a certain level to start?
No. What matters is not a level, it is what you can already do and where you get stuck. That is what the first conversation is for, and there is no test in it.
Do you teach complete beginners?
Sometimes, but it is not who this is built for. Lessons run in Hebrew, and the Journey assumes you already have some mileage behind you. If you are starting from zero, say so and I will be honest with you about whether I am the right teacher.
What happens after the two months?
We finish with a retrospective, looking at where you started and what changed. Some people stop there, which is a real and fine outcome. Some start a second Journey somewhere new. There is no automatic renewal and no pressure either way.
